This review is from: Lenovo IdeaPad U510 59347424 15.6" Ultrabook
Pros: Looks purdy.
Cons: Typical Lenovo trash. The screen flickers like mad. Uninstall the Intel 4000 driver, seems OK. Soon as you install the driver again, it happens again. Tried several different versions(old, new, beta), tried different operating systems. Obviously they should not have released the laptop to resellers in this condition. Now I am stuck with a sleek-looking brick because Lenovo tells me to contact Newegg for a replacement, Newegg tells me they won't take it back since the Operating System has been reloaded. This is the SIXTH Lenovo that has had issues right off the bat, their Quality Control is obviously incompetent or does not exist. There is a reason they have the most inexpensive products when you do a search for a PC. You get what you pay for rings true in their case.
Other Thoughts: I can't see myself giving them a 7th chance. Something ain't right here.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: ECS IC780M-A2 (V1.0A) AM3 AMD 770 ATX AMD Motherboard
Pros: Hmm...would be nice. If it worked...
Cons: Motherboard faults. Almost had me tear my hair out. Would POST, then wouldn't, then would try to load Windows, then would freeze. Replaced EVERYlast thing in the case, same problem. Board was just flat out defective. Nice QA ECS!
Other Thoughts: Not surprised as I read the reviews below...basically lost 10 bucks buying this board(shipping back to Newegg).READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: This laptop is everything I would want. Dedicated video card, i5, 17.3 screen. Makes for the perfect, budget gaming laptop
Cons: Keyboard. They tried to make it look like a Mac, but the W, E, and 5 keys are sticking as if a sugary substance was spilled on only those. The way the keyboard is under the top panel, it would be a pain to replace
Other Thoughts: Not sure if I just received one with a dud keyboard, but this laptop is still awesome for the priceREAD FULL REVIEW
