This review is from: Team C141 32GB USB Flash Drive Model TC14132GY01
Pros: Low price, fast delivery (as usual NewEgg), well packaged for durability
Cons: Died in 3 months, Corrupted file, Throughput slower than most 2.0 USB thumb drives. Unreliable video file (fly & MP4) copies some were only partial (incomplete file copy - no error message). Unreliable performance & data.
Other Thoughts: During a sustained 12GB video file transfer a significant number of files were only partially complete (failed to copy the complete file). Some partial files when individually copied to replace the partial worked but in the end it was all for naught. The thumb drive could not be accessed nor reformatted due to a corrupted file. It currently resides at the dump. Won't buy this again.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: 2012 MagicJack Plus + Free 1YR Subscription Magic Jack Service
Pros: Small, compact, low heat & power draw, kit contains all that is necessary to hook up to Computer and/or to router without a computer. Best of all the annual costs and services are the best bang for the buck that I could find.
It is portable, can be used wherever you go. Can be used with your laptop or without.
Cons: No hand holding, apologies or sympathy. Just plain How to, Q&A, and users blog that is quite helpful to those that are willing to read and learn.
Other Thoughts: I bought my Magic Jack Plus from them directly. I registered it and elected to port my land line number over. So when the dust settled no one would have to be notified or change a thing to get to us. The phone Number porting takes about 5 to 10 days and the land line is required to be active. So I had Magic Jack service and AT&T land line service until the number port was completed.
I am quite amazed at how nice it works. I simply unplugged my AT&T POTS line to the ComSwitch 7500 that switches incoming calls to Voice devices (answering, telephone, etc.) a Fax, also a computer. I simply connected the ComSwitch 7500 POTS Line in to the Magic Jack Plus Telephone jack and all appeared to be working.
I made a few calls and the quality was outstanding even on the speaker phone. The number port went without a hitch in just a few days with callers and I, not even noticing the change in service. The ComSwitch 7500 works just like it did with the AT&T Land line as do the phones, fax, and PC. I have a Panasonic base station with 5 wireless hand sets and they all work great!
I'm using a D-Link 825 Router with wire and both wireless bands (5GHz & 2.4GHz) all active 24x7 LAN, the ISP is ComCast @ 25Mbps down/5.6Mbps Up, Motorola SURFboard SB5120 cable modem.
Pros: Used this in combination with a Rosewill RNX-N300X IEEE 802.11b/g, IEEE 802.11n Draft 2.0 PCI Wireless Adapter Installation was uneventful and so has the operation and reliability. Exactly what the doctor ordered.
Other Thoughts: Delivery was timely and well informed via e-mail. The installation invironment was 12GB i5-3450 intel microprocessor running Windows 7 -64 bit os. Results were excellent.READ FULL REVIEW
