Transcend MTS600 TS256GMTS600 M.2 256GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: Nice small convenient SSD that fits ON a motherboard instead of taking up a hard drive slot. Does what it was intended for.

Cons: Not really a Con as the MTS600 worked perfectly...however the Asus Z97-A mother board i bought would not recognize it! Forcing me to use a wire-up conventional SSD ..It DID work in a A97-M Plus board I had purchased earlier.

Other Thoughts: As M.2 tech itself is "new" I would expect some "gliches" ! Since the MTS600 DOES work I'll just save it for use in another motherboard! Since it did work on a different Asus board I can only assume the M.2 slot on the Z97-A board was defective which has no baring on the Transcend MTS600 SSD

Dell M115HD WXGA 1280x800 HDMI USB Inputs w/ 1GB Internal Memory 450 ANSI Lumens Mobile LED Projector

Pros: Having to do presentations in awkward locations, this little beauty does the trick! Very clear and bright. Not really for big seminars but for a group of 10-20 this works fine. Can use different media, I prefer the Micro SC card as there is less to carry Setup take only a few seconds and the "instant off" lets me re setup for another different show or leave "cool down" time. The whole thing, projector, cords, media, remote, tripod, all fit in the 9x6x3 case that come with the projector. and weighs less than 2 lb. No need for a bulky laptop

Cons: Unfortunately it doesn't come WITH the remote, you need to buy it from dell,( neither of the remotes that work with the projector have a built in laser pointer) nor does the very handy tripod that works much better than just the "screw type foot" built into the projector. There reasonably priced and definitely worth the money.

Other Thoughts: For small and quick presentation this is ideal. Many of my instructors and presenters are older and hate to carry a lot of extra gear. (some are not technically savvy) So this is a blessing for them!

ASUS PB Series PB278Q 27
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: NO dead pixels! Excellent monitor, the clarity is amazing VERY sharp images. Tops for playing games. you can see more than with lesser res screens

Cons: non so far

Other Thoughts: The higher res may take a bit of getting use to! Comes with the DVI dual link cable and a DP cable along with all other needed cables. Tilts are way more than most would use The vertical tilt would be great for long legal docs. If your gaming with a high end video card...get this monitor! You will be MORE than happy you did!
