Pros: Nice surface to write on.
Seems to burn okay
Cons: Can't be read by any PC I own
Other Thoughts: All of the SmartBuy Dual layer +R DVDs I have "seemed" to burn okay but, when I've tried to "read" any of the disks nothing was found by any of the PCs I own.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Nice black case, long cables, 5 year warranty, cute bag.
Cons: First one worked for about 1.5 years then died.
Second one worked for about 10 minutes then died.
Other Thoughts: I have a 700w PSU that runs hot, so I wanted one of the 80% PSU to cut down on the heat. I bought the first Corsair TX850 2 years ago from NewEgg and for about 1.5 years everything was fine. Then the PC on boot up started not displaying video but, with a few times of turning the PC off and then back on the video would start working again. This continued to get more frequent until one day the PC was on and a moment later it was turned off. With a power supply tester I found that the PSU had died. So no worry it's got a 5 year warranty so, I got an RMA and put my old 700w back into case (it still worked, nothing else was bad) and waited for the replacement PSU. When I got the replacement PSU from Corsair everything looked brand new, so I installed the PSU fired up the PC and 10 minutes later the PC just shut down. Again got out the power supply tester and found out the replacement power supply had died. So back to the old 700w again (it still works). If you want a PSU to last don't buy a Corsair TX850.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: It's Black and matches my case
Cons: Will not burn or read dual layer dvd's. Burns single layer dvd's sometimes. Works with cd's most of the time.
Other Thoughts: This drive is a piece of junk. I would not advise anyone to buy a Lite-On drive. ALL OF THE NEC drives I have from newegg work, I only bought this drive because of the extra white bezel.READ FULL REVIEW
