This review is from: Norco C-42U 42U Rack Cabinet
Pros: Fully adjustable. Fully dismantelable. VERY well marked, everywhere.
Cons: Came in boxes and disassembled. Instructions and assembly were straight-forward but very time consuming.
Other Thoughts: We work in datacenters and have seen almost every major brand of rack out there. I was genuinely impressed by how cool these are. All rails and mounts are adjustable. The holes are drilled well. There were no sharp edges to cut yourself on. It is a great rack. The only problem is that whenever we order racks for clients, they always come assembled. It took two guys about an hour and a half to put this thing together. As with anything, the next one would have taken us much less time, but it was not something that we planned for. It is however a good option for future storage, transportation or fitment into tight spaces to be able to take down the whole thing if needed.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: High Speed. Good price compared to others
Cons: None really. Would certainly like them to be cheaper still.
Other Thoughts: We are an IT firm and have been selling these in our standard builds for a few months now. Probably got ~50 or so out in machines at this point. Prior to this we used a 60GB Mushkin drive that had about a 2% DOA rate and 4% failure rate within a year. So far I don't think that we have had a single DOA (statistically we should have had one) and we have not had a failed drive yet, although not enough time has passed. For what it's worth, Mushkin RMA was great to work with and sent us brand new drives.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Rosewill RTK-006 - Cable Tester
Pros: Cheap - thats about it!
Cons: Drains batteries, hard to test with. Cheap construction.
Other Thoughts: We ordered five of these all had the same issues. Power switch on most of them does not actually turn off and the batteries are drained when you go to use it. Obviously, not auto-off feature. Testing is VERY basic and there is no error indicator - it just blinks the lights. So if you have a miswire (a cross) it is hard to spot because LEDs still blink and in a row of 16 its hard to see one that is reversed. We got what we paid for and now they are in a landfill...READ FULL REVIEW
