BitFenix Spectre Pro BFF-LPRO-14025R-RP 140mm Red LED Case Fan

5 out of 5 eggs Perfect for Watercooling 01/07/2016

This review is from: BitFenix Spectre Pro BFF-LPRO-14025R-RP 140mm Red LED Case Fan

Pros: Quiet operation when used as a case fan, 120mm and 140mm mounting holes on base of fan. Red LED color is a solid "red" color. Perfect for water cooling or use as quiet case fans for an HTPC build. Low vibration on full speed. (See other)

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: On a 9590FX AMD build I have 3 on a 420mm radiator and 4 on a 280mm radiator. Solid air flow and very low noise operation on 60% fan speed when used with a fan controller. Noticeable sound of air being moved through radiators on full load, but must realize pushing high pressure through fins will create some turbulence aka noise. Optional jumper can be hooked up to a on/off switch to turn the lights off or on if desired. With current water cooled setup using Bitfenix Spectre Pro fans I can achieve 5.3 Ghz @ 1.52v OC'd at a max temp of 54*C.

SILVERSTONE TD02-E Durable High-Performance All-In-One Liquid CPU Cooler with Dual Adjustable 120mm PWM Fans

Pros: All in one construction, ease of installation, trouble free maintenance. Low noise from the pump.. Hoses flexible. Overall it's a great product worth the price for the average consumer. Enthusiast would prefer something more.

Cons: Only real concern is the fans. Granted they do move air through the radiator, on full speed they are loud. At 35-38 Dba they can be heard even if the case is under your desk. At lower speeds they are silent however if you require higher speed for extra cooling, then the trade off is the noise.

Other Thoughts: i would also recommend another after market thermal paste. The one included would work fine however there are better quality paste out on the market that will give better results.

Rosewill BlackHawk-Ultra Full Tower Gaming Computer Case, support up to HPTX MB, Support Dual PSU, come with 8 cooling Fans

Pros: The BlackHawk Ultra is a great case for those wanting the room to grow. With the ability to support water cooling options and support up to a 420 mm radiator, PC builders expectations can be met. Left side panel supports 9x 120 mm fans and right panel supports 120 mm or 90 mm fan for CPU back plate cooling.

Cons: One fan hub had two loose connectors and the fan hubs must be used with standoffs to prevent a short in the system. Bottom dust filter is nice, however the front and top has the option for a fan filter but isn't included. Removal of the two 120mm fans behind the front bezel can be difficult but can be replaced if you choose.

Other Thoughts: Overall, case is a 5 egg rating. Love the options it has, love the room for cable management and looks great all around. Thanks NEWEGG once again for Eggcellent service and products!
