Super Handy

Kingston DataTraveler II 256MB Flash Drive (USB2.0 Portable) Model KUSBDTII/256
Kingston DataTraveler II 256MB Flash Drive (USB2.0 Portable) Model KUSBDTII/256

Pros: Product was recognized almost immediately by Windows XP and, if I remember correctly, I was able to use it within a minute. All the storage space I needed, and quick.

Cons: Although it fits fairly snug and stays on, the cap has a tendency to come loose when it's rustled around at the bottom of a bookbag, etc.

Overall Review: I bought this pen drive for my wife, who is a graduate student. She loves it--uses it for taking PowerPoint presentations to school, and, of course, her documents. With the 256MB, she still has room to spare for pictures and odds-n-ends. Great product. Great shipping with FedEx (hint, hint, newegg). Bravo.

The jury's really still out, but...

ATI Radeon 9600XT 128MB DDR AGP 4X/8X Video Card ALL-IN-WONDER 9600XT 100-714120
ATI Radeon 9600XT 128MB DDR AGP 4X/8X Video Card ALL-IN-WONDER 9600XT 100-714120

Pros: I'm not much of a gaming enthusiast, but I was able to use this card to play COD at the highest settings. I love the "switch between displays" feature and have used it to watch movies on my television as opposed to my CRT monitor. Perhaps the major selling point was that the card wasn't the latest-and-greatest, and as a consequence the card is significantly cheaper. Combine this with its performance (see other reviews for specific games and other issues), and what you have is a great value. Miscellaneous kudos: Newegg, Newegg, Newegg...How do I love thee? Let me count the ways Great service: Order was placed and processed and the card was out the door in 24 hrs. Price: I used to price around, but I've learned quickly that this was futile. Great prices on everything! I've built my home PC with 95% of the parts from Newegg. The company has earned my trust. Whatever you're doing, Newegg, don't change a thing.

Cons: The Remote Wonder II is wonderful, though the buttons are fairly small (which makes watching a movie in the dark tedious) and many (you need an MA in Buttonology to feel comfortable with it; note to ATI: Less is More). The most frustrating issue that I'm having with the card is with EazyLook and its inability to startup after I've run other programs (i.e. web browser, Word, etc.) on the computer. To get it to respond, I have to reboot the computer. Then everything seems to work fine. I've contacted ATI support, and they've been prompt and enthusiastic, but ultimately unable to help me--their bottom line was to do "a clean install." Thanks, ATI. Really. Because, you know, I didn't think of that. A more experienced tinkerer might be able to fix this problem, but I'm not one of them. Let me say something in ATI's defense: when it arrived, the AIW was the first to do the super-multimedia thing. I suppose what we have are the startup glitches, or I just might be incompete

Overall Review: Let me state some of the premises I had when I bought this video card--hopefully, they'll help you decide if this is the video card for you. Mostly, my wife and I wanted a card for watching movies and I liked that the card allows you to hook up to an accessory monitor. This was my first video card purchase, and I wanted something that could drive the games I wanted to play, namely AOE and COD. Excellent value Satisfying game quality Dual-monitor
