Works great in Dell PowerEdge 2850

Pros: I got these as a cheap alternative to the expensive server rated ram. Worked great in a Dell PowerEdge 2850.

Cons: None, just have to remember the 2850 requires pairs.

ETCH A SKETCH!

Pros: Got this just for the free etch-a-sketch, couldn't be happier, 5 eggs

Cons: Didn't need the mobo, threw it out.

Good Screen

PLANAR 19" Active Matrix, TFT LCD SXGA LCD Monitor 5 ms D-Sub, DVI-D 997-2797-00 PL1910M(997-2797-00)

Pros: We use these exclusively at work. I usually order 5 at a time and probably have over 150 in service. Overall they are a solid work screen for regular users. The speakers are adequate for most desktop users as well. DVI/VGA inputs is a plus. Screen stays pretty clear when using VGA unlike some that get real fuzzy.

Cons: As others have mentioned, they're apparently reducing their QC and it's starting to show. I've had a handful of these die within the first year with various symptoms whereas our older purchases are still going strong. Any bad screens have been exchanged by Planar support without question. The panel isn't the best for gamers or image buffs, there are better alternatives for the price.
