This review is from: Cooler Master Cube - Portable Apple iPad 4, iPad Mini, and Universal Tablet Stand
Pros: Looks nice, heavy enough to securely hold a weighty tablet, movable bar stays at the angle you set (even when pressing your finger against a heavy tablet). Folds flat & compact.
Cons: It does not fit smaller form factors like the larger phones.
Other Thoughts: Well worth the money for holding a working tablet at a set angle.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Small, quiet and compact. With an SSD for the hard drive, I have to strain to hear any noise at all.
Cons: Would not boot from USB flash drive. The BIOS would recognize it, but it refused to consider it as a boot drive. Had to buy an optical drive just to load the OS.
It also will intermittently boot with errors - possibly to do with the USB connection (to an external drive array). Very annoying to deal with, as I use this as a headless server.
Other Thoughts: It's the right size and power for the task, but I would not buy this brand again. Too many problems.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: TOSHIBA RD-XS35 HDD/DVD Recorder
Pros: Very easy to setup recurring recordings, 3 different ways to transfer content to DVD-RW or -RAM, easy program search process.
Cons: Took 24 hours to download TV Guide listings; a few channels do not appear on the lineup; changing channels while using TV Guide is slow.
Other Thoughts: A very good buy - it is very flexible, and a major improvement over VCRs.READ FULL REVIEW
