Pros: Very Cool, quiet, nice software for running the fans and pumps.
Cons: Sort of noisy during burst cooling mode, but I notice that only after quitting out of a demanding game,
Other Thoughts: I know I have not scratched the surface of what this CPU can do. I'm sure it will last a few years of gaming into the future. The CPU can be overclocked, but I don't do that. If it ain't broke and everything is stable, why mess with it? The fan and pump do a great job of cooling, but the real test is coming next summer. The cooling pump has a led glowing logo that you can set the color to anything you want. It's a nice touch if you want to turn your PC into a showcase.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Crucial M4 CT256M4SSD2BAA 2.5" 256GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Pros: Easy Install, Fast Boot times, Good Size for the Price
Cons: I wish it was a little cheaper, but that's just greed on my part. I'm sure these will be a hundred dollars within a year.
Other Thoughts: I got this for my gaming PC. I just have the OS and a few games on the drive. Everything else is on a 500GB data drive. The PC now boots within 20 seconds of pushing the On button, recovers fast from sleep, and opens and closes games quite quickly. Makes me wonder what my system performance would be if everything was on SSD.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Cool, Quiet board at a Great Price.
Cons: None so Far
Other Thoughts: I originally had the GTX 550 ti board and it barely played Battlefield 3, Alice: The Madness Returns, and Civilization V on the highest setting. Frame rate was in the 20's and BF3 was choppy. Of course I was running a dual core, 4GB system so that could have been a bottleneck too. This card is a breathe of fresh air. All the previous mentioned games run super smooth in ultra mode at 60 FPS +.
I Have not overclocked the board and see no need to. The Card is very stable as is. Very happy with my choice. I may have to pick up a another one to do SLI.
