Pros: Can't think of any positives

Cons: In less than two years (first install date was Jan 2015), this board has been defective, including the replacement. I left a negative review for the first board and deleted it when it went back for the RMA. MSI's rep on this board provides a toll free number that does not work for motherboard RMAs. If you used a rebate that required you to send in the serial number off the box, you should have made a photocopy of the documents because there is no serial number sticker on the board anywhere (both on the original and the replacement), fortunately, I did make a photocopy. The first board had dead USB ports, sound problems and then failed - leaking from the VRMs on the backplane after extreme overheating. The returned motherboard (repaired? a new one? who knows) repeatedly overheated, shut down (with no BSOD), and finally died. It was running hot and throttled before it died. Do not buy this board or its newer cousin, research I've done reports that MSI used very cheap mofsets.

Other Thoughts: Do not buy this board, it is nothing but headaches, you will spend time disassembling your computer, downtime while in transit for the RMA, and no guarantee that the board you receive in return will work.

Pros: Drivers easily install, compact - no brainer operation in theory
It was cheap when I got it

Cons: eSATA never worked. USB connection to the computer was flaky and stopped working after several uses - tested on several machines. I did use the external power supply, the computers did not see the hard drive in spite of the fact that the USB drivers had installed. You need to be very careful when inserting the hard drive into the dock - which I did but it still broke. Present status - in the garbage.

SABRENT CRW-UINB 68-in-1 USB 2.0 Internal Card Reader w/ USB 2.0 Port supports SDHC/VISTA
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: Used it once.

Cons: Caused my OS to prevent other USB devices from installing - like my printer. Caused my USB mouse & keyboard to randomly freeze. I had a new Rosewill card reader for a different build, so I took out this piece of garbage and put in the Rosewell (it uses a different chipset), my problems are gone.

Other Thoughts: For the same price you can get a Rosewill. Most card readers are not very durable so consider them a disposable. As for this Sabrent reader, get yourself some nice craft made beer for the same price rather waste your time and money on this product.
