This review is from: ENERMAX OSTROG ECA3253-BL Black / Blue SGCC / SECC ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Pros: This case is mostly holes. In the world of high-powered
computers that is a good thing. You can easily cool any
system by adding fans and the airflow will take care of itself....no hot air will be trapped inside this case.
This is a well-built case and has room for lots of goodies inside. The four USB ports on the top work great for me since I have the systems sitting below the desk. On the desktop you might have to stand up to plug in a thumb drive but that is not a great big problem.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind.
Other Thoughts: This is the fourth one of these I have purchased. Three of them I bought at F_y's and I paid more. Newegg beat their price. Then, with the free shipping and rebate I saved even more. I am very pleased. Money saved and I didn't have to leave the house.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: MASSCOOL 8W553B1M3 90mm Ball CPU Cooler
Pros: It looks and works better than an OEM cooler. It dropped
my cpu temp by 10 degrees C. I figure if the OEM cooler
is adequate to ensure the manufacturer's warranty then this
one should make it last even better since it runs cooler.
Cons: Nothing particular wrong with this cooler.
Other Thoughts: It would be niggling to criticize the quality or the parts
build level. You get what you pay for. It isn't the best made
cooler out there but it isn't the most expensive either.
To say "you get what you pay for" isn't always true. I would
say "you never get more than you pay for and sometimes
you get a whole lot less". In any event, for the price this
is a sold performer.
Pros: It's pretty quiet. It burns disks that have no compatibility
problems. It reads, rips and burns. For the price it is great.
I am running this drive on systems with XP, Vista Business
and Windows 7 and it likes them all.
Cons: At this price point, there are no negatives. It is worth
the purchase price just to listen to the drive wind up.
Even if it didn't work, it would be worth that much.
Other Thoughts: This drive is a commodity. The price is so low that you can
use it to extinction and replace it without stretching your
wallet. I once paid $169 for a 1X CD-ROM reader with a
proprietary interface card. Now, I get a 24X DVD burner for
$14.99......what's not to like.
