Compromises, but satisfied
Pros: Bright display, WinXP, good WiFi reception, all of the benefits of a netbook: small size, light weight
Cons: all of the problems inherent in a netbook: small keyboard, slow processor, small low resolution screen.
Overall Review: A netbook is not a substitute for a laptop
Poor refurbishing
Pros: Potentially good bargain if it had actually be refurbished
Cons: Contrary to the recertification card, the laptop was not thoroughly tested. I have bought many refurbished laptops, but this is the first and last time from Odyssey. Other arrived with cosmetic flaws, but otherwise performed to spec. I order one which arrived with a defective fingerprint reader and this was replaced by one with a defective keyboard.
Overall Review: Odyssey computer does a poor job testing and refurbishing laptops.
Stable
Pros: Inexpensive, stable and no fans, 6150 video is OK for business apps. 4 SATA connectors, 1 Com/Lpt for legacy hardware.
Cons: no hardcopy manual and none on CD either, but you can download from (Foxconn website). Front panel is uncommon Azalia standard, no firewire.
