Pros: This unit worked reliably from the start. I have set it up to be active in my 2 router home network, and it is sensitive on this network. The speed is unbelievable! downloads (such as Win 8.1 updates) are fast and reliable. I have had no problem with anything, except perhaps my own misunderstanding with all the features available with the "Cloud" drive available as a result of this tablet. I am still learning more about this tablet, and the "cloud" features.
The display is clear, focused, detailed, and bright at all times.
I have also verified its great performance in public Wi-Fi surroundings, such as doctor's offices.
Cons: None at all!
Other Thoughts: My wife loves the free card games she found on this unit, and plays them often. I asked her if she wanted her own tablet, but she said "no".
I think she needs her own tablet.
I purchased this from New Egg, because they are almost always competitively priced. Another national company advertised this about $8-10 cheaper, but they "had to order" with about a one week delivery delay. (How many times does the "week" stretch into longer delivery times?)
Every time New Egg states an item is in stock, it has been, and shipping is prompt - just as this item delivery was reasonable.
I am very satisfied with the performance of this product. With the inclusion of Win 8.1 and Windows Office 2013, it was a "no-brainer".
Pros: Plug it in, and it works! I am using it with an Acer 8 inch tablet, and it has never failed or locked up. It is reliable, and nothing else matters! The speed class (10) is very fast.
Cons: None at all!READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: WINEGARD J-Mount for DBS Satellite Dish / Outdoor TV Antenna
Pros: I needed the longer pole featured by this product so that my different DISH antenna could "see" different satellites with new look angles. With the original shorter post, the dish reflector bumped the roof structure before the proper alignment could be achieved.
This item is of good quality construction with a durable finish. It allows the dish post to be mounted closer horizontally to the mounting plate than the DISH mount that it replaced. The original DISH mount horizontal distance is about 9 inches, and the horizontal offset dimension with this mount is only about 4 inches. That means the dish has less "off-center" force on the mount plate, and the DISH weight is centered more directly above the new mounting plate. That results in the mount having less lateral forces, and is therefore more secure. However, please see comments in the "Other thoughts" portion of this review!
Cons: The distance between the "pivot" bolt and the adjustment bolts that secure the post to the mounting plate is different from the original DISH (AND DIRECTV) mounting assemblies. That means the post cannot be removed, and the new post assembled to the original mount plate. The mount plate must also be replaced. Fortunately though, the mounting plate hole pattern to the building structure are identical, so the original holes on the building will match the new mounting plate.
Other Thoughts: Be sure the house eave (If so mounted) will allow the post portion of the mount to clear the roof structure "overhang". so that the post can be installed vertically as the antenna will require.READ FULL REVIEW
