Pros: I previously posted a review stating that this drive caused my MacBook Pro 13" (mid-2009) to freeze up. It turns out that was caused by bad memory. I can confidently state that this drive works just fine with my system with the exception of the below minor con. I have noticed increased speed, absolutely no noise, and am very satisfied with this purchase.
Cons: The system still cannot go to sleep on its own using this drive. Not really a big deal if you tell the computer to go to sleep.
Other Thoughts: I know a lot of folks have had issues with 3rd party drives in the mid-2009 MacBook Pros but this is my second installed drive and I've had none of the issues that have plagued folks for years. Guess I'm lucky but I can't imagine what would be different.
Also, I'm using the SD25 firmware from Seagate.
Pros: Works great in mid-2009 MacBook Pro 13". I have several programs running, including Handbrake while it compresses a DVD, and am experiencing no slow down at all.

This review is from: COOLMAX HD-250BZ-U2 Aluminum 2.5" Copper SATA I/II USB 2.0 External Enclosure
Pros: Nice coloring, tiny, comes with a case, and does what it's supposed to.
Cons: No extra bonus E-Sata like other folks got.
Mine came with a T6 screw for one of the four needed to secure the end pieces. Not a big deal as I have a T6 screwdriver but be aware of it.
Other Thoughts: Running a 320GB WD Scorpio. Some cables will allow you to run the drive with only one USB port.READ FULL REVIEW
