This review is from: ASUS Sabertooth X58 LGA 1366 Intel X58 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
Pros: This motherboard, once running, has proven itself to be pretty solid. My memory is clocked at 1600 with no issues and the 6Gb/s Sata performance is a plus. Have been running 24x7 for over a week and torturing it with BF3 and TOR. Great board!
Cons: Memory Sensitive - I initially had issues with getting the board to boot up. I had purchased Patriot Sector 7 memory being that it was specified for X58 motherboards, but that memory turned out to have compatibility issues with the Sabertooth. In looking closer at the QVL, I noted that my particular memory was not on the list. Sent it back via RMA and purchased the Corsair Dominator 12 GB set and haven't looked back since.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: ZALMAN CNPS9900MAX-B 135mm Long life bearing CPU Cooler Blue LED
Pros: The fan itself does a great job at keeping my i7-980X Extreme cool. Highest temperature seen so far under load has been 45 Deg C.
Cons: This thing is huge. Make sure you have enough room in the case to handle it. Mounting it to my MB was somewhat of a pain, but workable.
Other Thoughts: MB this is mounted on is a X58 Sabertooth inside of an Antec Nine Hundred Two V3 case.READ FULL REVIEW
