Pros: Were good and fast when they worked.
Cons: almost unbelievable ironic mortality rate on these. have had in a qnap nas drive since october 2012 (it is may 8 2014 as of writing) it was 8 of these drives, 1 drive failed last week, not and issue i replaced and the raid rebuilt, this week 2 drives failed at the same time. odds seem unreal, but it happened. replacing all of the drives now as i'm not sure how long they will last and this is a backup drive.
tl;dr 3 drives failed within a year and a half, 2 at the same time and 1 a week before.
Pros: I now own 3 of these, i work IT in a warehouse and slowly upgrading from P4 slim dell workstations. i decided to try one of these out to just display powerpoints on a tv all day. and was surprised by the power of it. (i had ordered an atom version a few weeks prior and it was just awful.) the cpu is decent, the wireless is decent, hdmi out, dvi out, usb 3, sd card, bluetooth, and it mounts to the back of the monitors and doesn't get clutter everywhere, an IT dream machine. only downfall i can see is when this thing goes, there is no repair, only ram and hdd can swap. MAYBE the wireless card, but i didn't see it, nor am i using it. i love how small they are, i didn't notice the fan noise at all, but again, factory setting here. all in all, would recommend to people for out of the way installs and just tiny things needed, not sure how well it would work as htpc as it is onboard graphics, didn't have anything to test that with.
Cons: faster cpu? 1 more ram slot? i mean, nitpicking to the bone here i think it is great.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Works great, loud alarm, lots of outlets.
Cons: Less than 90 days and my battery went bad, contacted APC and they are sending me a replacement battery, so in this aspect it is exactly why i purchased from APC, 3 year warranty. the reason i still have 4 egg review, because it will work fine after a new battery is in it, and faulty batteries happen. but them charging 0 to replace, and FREE return shipping is great.READ FULL REVIEW
