Pros: Fast if it worked....
Cons: Read carefully and do not buy: This drive has a BSOD bug when it goes into a low power state, there are NO temporary fixes. The problem is exacerbated when the computer uses TRIM or goes to sleep, but you will still get BSODs.
There is a forum thread with over 300 replies on the Corsair forum about this issue, it is well known!
Other Thoughts: Waiting for a firmware release, the ONLY chance of ever using this drive again. As of right now, it's nothing but a paperweight!READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: LIAN LI PC-B70 Black Aluminum ATX Full Tower Computer Case
Pros: Overall the case is very well designed and feels extremely durable. Installation was very quick. 7 of the hard drive slots are tool-less (the bottom 7) and the 5.25 bays are tool-less. There are two PSU slots, if you put your PSU in the bottom then you have the option of putting 3 HD's in the top PSU slot using thumb screws. PCI slots are also tool-less and my GTX285 fit in very easily even with a full rack of HD's. The removable motherboard tray is extremely well designed and made installation much easier. There is also a hole in the tray in case you need to swap out CPU heatsinks/blocks later down the road.
All of the stock fan locations are ideal, and fans are all working properly, efficiently, and quietly. I honestly like cases like this which have a simplified airflow (from front to back) with no other side or top vents. I am running liquid cooling and I needed the flat surface on top to place my external pump
Cons: Anyone buying this should know that this is one of the largest towers you can get. (with that being said it is still extremely lightweight)
1) The liquid cooling tube holes are a bit too small, and I had to remove the rubber washers to fit my tubes nicely through.
2) In order to clean the front air filters, you have to remove the front panel. You also have to remove the front panel to gain access to the fan speed control (all 4 stock fans are controlled by one switch)
3) With a case this big, I wanted to keep all the cables in the front for easier access, however the bottom hard drive rack is designed such that their ports are facing the back of the case. If you want to swap HD's, both side panels have to be removed.
4) The tool-less 5.25 and 3.5 bays are some of the only plastic used in the construction of this entire case. I hope the plastic components can last as long as the rest of this case.
Other Thoughts: Overall there are not enough serious cons to give this case any less than 5 eggs. So far, everything is working great and I can say that this is the best tower I have ever owned. If you're contemplating at the price of this just think you get what you pay for.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: KINGWIN KH-200U-BK Aluminum alloy 2.5" Black IDE USB 2.0 External Enclosure
Pros: I installed a 2.5'' drive from an old laptop in less than a minute. Just one plug and two screws. The drive is very secure inside and does not rattle at all. It even comes with a soft carrying case. If you want the best bargain on an enclosure, this is it. It is also convenient to have it powered by USB, I don't know why people want it to be externally powered. The HDD was recognized instantly in Vista and I was able to access all my data.
Cons: The supplied screwdriver is junk, but if you use your own to tighten the two screws, the HDD installation is perfect.
Other Thoughts: This is definitely a good bang for the buck, and the aluminum case is smooth and solid. As long as you use your own screwdriver, I don't see why this product doesn't deserve 5 eggs.READ FULL REVIEW
