Cooler Master Hyper T2 - Compact CPU Cooler with Dual Looped Direct Contact Heatpipes
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Great budget CPU cooler. Reduced temps from stock Athlon II X2 by 15C and allowed headroom for overclocking.

Cons: The included thermal paste is of low quality. I decided to go with Artic Silver Ceramique.

Other Thoughts: I've seen some reviews mentioning that the fan is too loud. The fan is PWM, so if you find it too loud either adjust its speed in your BIOS or use a program like Speedfan. I run mine at 1200RPM and it's totally silent.

TOSHIBA DT01ACA200 2TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: None.

Cons: Started making a loud clicking noise while formatting and then produced a bevy of SMART errors. DOA.

Other Thoughts: I took a gamble with the sky-high failure rate of these drives. The sale price was just too irresistible. I regret my decision.

Microsoft Optical Mouse 200 for Business White 3 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Wired 1000 dpi
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: It feels like a solid, sturdy mouse - not cheap. The buttons are responsive and give a satisfying "click," while the scroll wheel is pleasantly silent. 1000 dpi makes it plenty accurate for anything but hardcore PC gaming.

Cons: It's a bit on the small side, but not enough to make it a problem. If you have huge hands, though, you might want to consider getting something else.
