Pros: Got 6 of these (3 here, 3 elsewhere) and all of them have been running 24/7 for a couple months with no issues. Low power draw, quiet... perfect for a home NAS.
Cons: none really
Other Thoughts: I had heard some bad things about these WD Reds, but I got them anyway and have been happy. No issues at all.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: CyberPower CP1000PFCLCD UPS 1000VA / 600W PFC compatible Pure sine wave
Pros: Does it's job. Works with my FreeNAS system to gracefully power down when the power goes out. Smaller than some of the older UPS systems I've owned.
Very nice LCD display with measurements such as voltage, run time, and power output (see other thoughts). LCD can be activated for a few seconds at a time by pressing a button, or locked on so it stays on all the time.
Other Thoughts: This thing has a real-time readout of power output, which is very cool. I have mine set to display that at all times. This way I always know how much power my system is using and I can even infer how busy the system is by its power use. For me, this has been an unexpected bonus feature.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Silent; no buzzing as some have reported. I measure less than one watt power draw while in standby. The high efficiency and no moving parts makes it excellent for a system that's going to be running 24/7. Modular wires.
Other Thoughts: It came with a great little storage bag and some nice velcro cable ties. The storage bag is nice for the modular cables you're not using at the moment but don't want to loose!READ FULL REVIEW
