Pros: It works good as a workstation with windows 7 installed.
Cons: I bought this under the pretense that I was getting a server. I thought I could use all those nice features that intel bragged about. It wasn't until I got the server that I found out those nice server features only work with the next processor model up. They do not work on I3 Cpu's. No big deal though.
The very big deal is that the bios is gimped and can only run certain versions of OS's and VMware software. No ubuntu, and if you want linux, you have to buy the redhat corporate version. This includes VMware OS's as well. The bios will check for Windows 7,8 or Server, and Redhat Linux. If you are not running those then you get a "NO OS" error.
If I pay for a server, I want a server. If I pay for a server and get a workstation, I at least want to be able to run any OS I choose.
Other Thoughts: I will definately check specs in more detail when buying a server. It is sad that things today are still so proprietary that you can't even run mainstream OS's on supposed IT level equipment.READ FULL REVIEW
