Pros: Intel design (so it fits like its supposed to) High RPM fan (9,500 rpm will keep the CPU as cold as ice)
Cons: LOUD -- 9,500rpm sounds like a jet engine in your ear
Other Thoughts: On my dual-Xeon Supermicro, these were running at full speed (9,500 rpms sounds like a jen engine in your ear). The issue was not enough air over the IOH on the board -- which I've solved, and these run very quietly now (most of the time). Still, startup is quite loud. These are the loudest fans I've ever used. Might help if there were more than 2 heatpipes, or if they offered this in a 4U version as well.
