Pros: Cheap, pretty
Cons: High failure rate.
Be aware that Crucial's "lifetime warranty" is useless.
I has four of these in a system. One failed.
Crucial simply responded that they no longer have them in stock and cannot replace them.
They offered to substitute some generic memory not compatible with my remaining Crucial sticks.
Waiting weeks for incompatible replacement!
Performs pretty well when its up.
Cons: I purchased this router to use as an access point to replace a G Linksys. The new firmware (22.214.171.124.132) has fixed some bugs, cleaned up the interface and simplified configuration. However it has done nothing to improve stability. It locks up about once a week where a reboot will not revive it. It requires a full reset to default to be accessable. The main issue here, aside from continually reconfiguring it, is that the return to default loses Access Point mode and returns the address to 192.168.1.1 which conflicts with my router. I have had more lockups with this Asus in two months than I had with the Linksys in four years!
Other Thoughts: I may have to throw it away and invest in a more reliable product. Hopefully Asus will solve the reliability issues that have been reported by far too many users or at least offer an upgrade path.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Adequate power supply. Well built and nice looking.
Great case if Antec fixes the problem listed below.
Cons: I noticed that when the front panel was touched the system would reboot. Could cause a reboot by simply touching the silver front panel near the USB and audio jacks.
Antec is aware of the problem and working on a solution.
