Pros: Price, sleek design, minimum bloatware
Other Thoughts: I had this tablet for 2 month before the battery stopped charging. It would not charge beyond 29%. It had to be sent in for repair and now I am getting a refurbished unit back. On the plus side Dell was very responsive and helpful through the entire process. The overall design and performance of the tablet otherwise is pretty nice. I have a 10 inch Galaxy Tab and I thought the 8 inch might be too small, but that isn't the case.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Don't own it so have nothing to say either way about the quality or performance.
Cons: T-mobile actually uses the AWS band for its 3/3.5G, which is 1700+2100 (one is for uplink, other for downlink). So the statement that 1700 is dominant for TMO is wrong.
There are countries that use only 2100 for 3G, but not TMO USA. Since this phone does not support AWS (1700+2100), you cannot use it on TMO AWS 3/3.5G network, even if you are in an area with 2100 band.
He is however correct in that TMO is shifting over most of its 3/3.5G network to the 1900 band and has coverage in a lot of big cities on this re-farmed band. Check the web for coverage of 1900 3G for TMO.
This review is from: Blackberry Storm Black unlocked GSM Smart Phone with Touch Screen (9530)
Pros: Its a Blackberry
Cons: No where does it mention that this is a Verizon branded phone. The title says OEM which makes you think this is straight from RIM. Instead you get phone that has been unlocked by a third party. This phone was for someone else, so all I did was order it. I didn't do my usual research or else I would not have bought it. I am surprised that Newegg would be deceptive like this.
I cant find the Browser anywhere on this thing, even though it says that it is installed in the applications list. Anyone using the phone with Tmobile know how to set up email, restore the browser and use the navigation?
