This review is from: Biostar Gift - BIO-REMOTE
Pros: Works will with the CCIR transmitter/receiver. Header connected and plenty of cable to make a nice line of sight. The remote is a typical remote, nothing too fancy.
Cons: Not much Linux support, but a bit of tweaking got it to work just fine.
Other Thoughts: I never really had a reason for a PC remote until I made a part time HTPC. Since the price was cheap, I took a chance and it worked out. Not bad for basic remote functionalityREAD FULL REVIEW
This review is from: APEVIA CVT43 Power 4 PIN Adapter TO 3 PIN Fan Adapter
Pros: They look GREAT!
Cons: ...eh, don't fit my system
Other Thoughts: I'm taking the hit on this one, not Newegg. I wasn't paying attention, just quickly select, pay, move on. Oh well, maybe I could use it on something, sometime, somewhere.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Everything fits just right; all connectors necessary available. 5 fans - plenty of airflow. Quiet
Cons: Fans - they suck with terrible Molex connectors - who the heck uses those anymore when most Z87 has plenty of available headers? As it is, no ability to have fan control. I'll probably go out and get some Molex-header adapters. Oh, and as others have posted, the Molex connectors are poorly made. Drive connections have to done upside down (i.e. SATA and SATA power on the bottom). Apevia needs to include 90 degree SATA cables, not standard straight cables.
Other Thoughts: HIGHLY SUGGESTED: If you are installing an optical or more 5.25" drives into the box (top rails), do that first! If not, the MB will restrict installing and you'll end up having to take the MB back out.READ FULL REVIEW
