This review is from: NZXT RL-KRG10-W1 Sleeve Kraken G10 GPU Bracket
Pros: - Cooled my HOT Gigabyte HD 7950 (80*C + stock) NOW; 40*C at 99% load.
- Did not need a shim on the GPU to accommodate the water block. Corsair H55
- The whole case is cooler inside. NZXT H440
Cons: - Squeezes on to the GPU fairly tight. The video card seemed slightly warped.
- Can’t use a full backplate, those come in handy to support the weight of the video card.
Pros: - Case looks awesome, dare I say; beautiful.
- Cable management is easy.
- Cables hide well.
- Everything inside looks neat.
- Fits a 280mm radiator.
- FANS! Fans everywhere!
Cons: So, here is where she loose an egg. I have a NZXT Kraken X61 CLC cooling an OC'd 3770K at 4.6 GHz before I bought this case. I would get 25-29*C at idle and about 48-59*C at full load. Full load being 1 hour of Prime95 running.
Now, once I put this H440 together I noticed I took a hit on my CPU's core temps. Around 4*C higher temps at idle and about 15*C higher temps at at full load running Prime95. The issue is the small areas of ventilation this case has.
When i'm i'm playing games; Titanfall, BF4, Crysis, etc. I have to remove the top and front panel of the H440 to help cool it.
Now, I know I have a HOT GPU, a HD7950, it can get into 80*C and that makes the inside temps of the case a toasty 50*C. I am going to be installing a GPU cooler Kraken G10 with a Corsair H55 and see if the ambient case temp. come down when I'm gaming.
Other Thoughts: I really like this case design but I have to figure out this temps issue though.READ FULL REVIEW
