Pros: Runs great so far.
Playing shadow of mordor, Battlefield 4, rome 2, arkham origins, Skyrim with hd textures mods, all at ultra settings with AA and staying above 60fps.
The biggest thing has to be how cool this thing runs. After playing 3 hours straight this thing was only 65 degrees celsius and the fans are quiet. Idle is 30 degrees.
Cons: The thing is gigantic. But I had a gtx 460 before this, which is relatively small compared to your average graphics card today.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: PlayStation 4 Console
Pros: Hardware wise its great. With mantle support soon to become the standard to replace directx the console's software should become much better over time. The APU may be multiple weak cores which is great for multitasking as of right now but this means developers will have to take advantage of all cores at once. Once they achieve this eventually you may see the utilization out of the APU similar to that of a high end intel processor. This is also good news for pc gamers as it will probably mean pc gaming will become cheaper. The APU along with the 8gigs of GDDR5 will eventually lead to some to some major improvements. And of course you can still watch netflix, hulu, and blu-ray dvd's on it. To sum it up the PS4 has all the hardware it needs to become an amazing console. As of right now the games look great but they are nowhere near its potential.
Cons: As of right now the gaming library is limited but this is the case with any new console launch.READ FULL REVIEW
