This review is from: ADATA DashDrive Elite UE700 128GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive Model AUE700-128G-CBK
Pros: i never thought i would be so impressed with a usb drive
-128gb is huge
-writing up to 141MB/s... as low as 118MB/s... LOW?!
-READING around 200-400MB/s
-LIFETIME WARRANTY ON PARTS AND LABOR?!
Cons: looks aluminum, is actually plastic. still looks great though which is actually a pro i guess.
Other Thoughts: would buy more if i needed more space but i have a 2tb external for that if needed.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: with a custom fan curve you can keep this thing quiet. **NO COIL WHINE!!**
Cons: the thermal compound on both the original product and the rma one i got in the mail was not so great - the second one had a better application than the first. however, i'm still not so impressed by this cooler. this cooler was built for the average gamer and then applied to an enthusiast card.
Other Thoughts: while im extremely happy that there is no coil whine on this card, the cooler on my windforce 970 was much quieter. however, that card had coil whine.
i am now purchasing a second one of these cards as i like the black pcb and the quality mosfets and voltage regulators. also, no coil whine. though, i fear the fans will ramp up, therefore ... this junk cooler has pushed me to go for a custom water cooling loop. no more noise!!
Pros: looks ok? i guess?
fans didnt turn on while idle as expected
wanted to add a second but see cons
Cons: this card has bad thermal interface material. i popped it into my define r5, with drive cages all removed, and 3 large 140mm intake fans on the front. so, PLENTY of intake for a single card.
Other Thoughts: card would be great im sure if the thermal compound were good. tried to swap it out for a DIFFERENT brand of 980 as this is my first venture into asus video cards.
also the warranty is junk since you cant even apply your own thermal paste
