Pros: It offers plenty of power to enthusiasts. I must compliment the ESA integration. It lets you monitor all your temps and voltages live... can't express enough how valuable this feature is.
Cons: Loud... But, if you need power like this, your PC isn't quiet anyway (Unless you watercool.) 3-4GPUS and an OC CPU require a lot of, usually loud, cooling.
Other Thoughts: I posted a one egg review almost a year ago. The power supply was nice and quiet... too quiet. The cooling fan was a failure, But the PSU actually lasted about 6 hours without cooling fan!!! My replacement has been running great ever since. Pros: 1200 watt power. 90amps, esa...
Cons: failure after 6 hours? scared me half to death. I'm just browsing the net, watching temps with regular use and the whole system goes down... the smell of the psu comes up to greet me... I have a stacker 830, plenty of airflow... temps were low from several fans. Put my old 750w corsair, rig works fine now. I need the big power to run both of my graphics card properly though.
Other Thoughts: PC Power & Cooling is supposed to make good products, I received a bad one. What a disappointment. I wonder how much the warranty process will cost me.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: 45nm (runs cooler) overclocks to 3.2GHz easily with no increase in temp. I have a Thermaltake True black 120 with 2x120mm fans aero cool 89.39CFM (Push/pull method)
Cons: It only has an 8x multiplier. This means that you will need to rely on your fsb to overclock the cpu. This is proving difficult with my evga 790i.
Other Thoughts: Buy a QX9775 if you have the money.READ FULL REVIEW
