Cons: Not the cheapest RS-232 to USB solution, but certainly the most universal one.
Other Thoughts: Used for a scientific application. Talking to old instruments with new computers and definitely needed the FTDI chipset (built-in driver support in newer versions of windows).READ FULL REVIEW

This review is from: Polk Audio Monitor Series Monitor 45B Two-Way Bookshelf Loudspeaker (Cherry) Pair
Pros: Great Price, Great sound, Great look.
Not the best audio out there but certainly a fantastic option for a home stereo.
Cons: Maybe a bit big (check dimensions) but that's part of why they sound so good.
Other Thoughts: Not much to add that hasn't already been covered. I would recommend for great sound at home without the cost of your first born. I did also get a Polk Sub (10") to go with these. They would be fine by themselves but I'm a bit of an audiophile.READ FULL REVIEW
