HP Compaq L240w Black 24
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: Clarity, size and resolution

Cons: 2 monitors, one backlight died in two weeks.

Other Thoughts: I've spent tens of thousands of dollars at newegg over the years, just because I threw away the original box, they won't take back the monitor for replacement. They won't have to worry about future confrontations with me.

Foxconn 661GX7MJ-H LGA 775 SiS 661GX Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Worked like it should with a P4 775 cpu.

Cons: Rebate hasn't come in 7 months... don't expect it either.

Other Thoughts: Please erase the idiot reviews about how this board is DOA for those that stated that it didn't work with a Core2Duo nor a Celeron (without a "D"). It's not supposed to work with those processors, it does have the same socket but it clearly states in the product specs that it only works with Pentium D / Pentium 4 HT / Celeron D processors... which makes this equivalent to a 915 Intel chipset.

5 out of 5 eggs The Ultimate Air Cooler 02/16/2007

This review is from: Tuniq Tower 120 Universal CPU Cooler 120mm Cooling Fan and Fan Controller/Heatsink

Pros: Fits beautifully on a Gigabyte 965P-DS3 board. It's big but not that big so if you have a mid-tower case, you are good. I had to take off the air duct that was protruding inward on the side of the case but I didn't need that in the first place anyways.

Cons: None really except it could be quieter on 2000RPMs, but it's not a concern since it cools well at 1000RPMs where the noise is very minimal. And if you want to run it at 2000RPM, then a simple switch to a quieter fan will do the trick.
