Pros: Hot swap, power efficient, 80+ GOLD PSU's.
Cons: Backplanes consistently fail after 6 - 24 months.
Other Thoughts: I have ~10 of these in production and 3 backplanes have failed while running under normal operations in the last 16 months. Only solution is to remove the backplane making the drives no longer hot swappable.
Enjoy the downtime.

Pros: Energy Efficient, Cheap, Legacy ports.
Cons: Does not work with Windows 2003.
Other Thoughts: I have a bunch of these running for a year so far and they've never given me any trouble.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: High Capacity, One of the fastest 2.5" drives, especially for the price.
Cons: Heads are parking every 3 to 8 seconds in Linux 2.6.18-308.4.1.el5.
Other Thoughts: I installed 4 of these into a supermicro server for a RAID. They all park their heads every few seconds, causing small delays of 2 to 4 seconds whenever you do *anything* after more than a few seconds of idle time. Was able to fix the drives by disabling advanced power management (hdparm -B 255 /dev/sdX). Unchecked, this could potentially cause premature drive failure.READ FULL REVIEW
