Pros: Only if you like getting products that you didn't intend to order.
Cons: This product is not what was pictured in the product photo. I ordered this expecting to get an assortment of breadboard jumper wires, which is what was shown in the product photo, but instead got a single 4-wire twisted cable with female header connectors on each end, for use I'm guessing with an Arduino board. Perhaps someday I'll have a use for this, but it's not what I needed or expected to get based on the product photo.
Other Thoughts: I put in an RMA and was given one, but I have to ship it back at my expense, and at under $3 it's just not worth it. So I'll keep it for possible future use.
Newegg and/or its partners need to be more careful in making sure that product photos match up with the actual product, and make it up to customers (especially longtime ones!) who end up ordering the wrong product because of such mismatches.
This review is from: 125pcs 25 Value (1uF~2200uF) Electrolytic Capacitors Assortment Kit Assorted Set
Pros: Can't vouch for the quality of this capacitor kit as I just got it, but they're capacitors, which for most people will either work or not, and they appear to be in new and good condition, and all the types of capacitors in different capacitance and voltage ratings were included, as per the product description, each in separate marked clear ziploc bags.
However, I ordered them on the 17th and they just got here on the 21st on the east coast--4 days before Christmas and on a Saturday--so 5 stars for Electronic Depot's shipping efficiency!
Other Thoughts: It would have been nice if they offered a somewhat more expensive version of this kit in a clear plastic box with compartments, but it's pretty easy to find those for cheap in stores and I'm guessing that most people already have them.
Now onto putting together some circuits!
Pros: Light, compact, unobtrusive. Usually works, if not stretched too much and cable isn't bent at either plug end.
Cons: Not 6 feet as indicated on product page. Just barely 3 feet if stretched to limit. But if stretched too much or the cable is bent at either plug, it doesn't work and the connection is lost. This is a very cheaply made cable that doesn't look like the one in the product page image.
I'd return it if S&H was free and get a better cable. I'll probably get a better one anyway. This is a disappointment.
Other Thoughts: It's just barely usable if you just need a very light and compact coiled cable for occasional use. But if you intend to use it regularly or stretch it more than a little bit, look elsewhere as it'll disappoint you.READ FULL REVIEW
