TREND MICRO Titanium Maximum 2014 - 3 PCs
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 week to 1 month

3 out of 5 eggs Works on One PC and Not the Other 12/24/2013

This review is from: TREND MICRO Titanium Maximum 2014 - 3 PCs

Pros: More comprehensive than past versions

Cons: Crashed my Surface Pro 2 so had to use a different product.

Other Thoughts: I have been a regular user of Trend Micro's products over the years and have always been happy, This time however, it kept crashing my new Surface Pro 2 (driver issue). I installed it in my desktop no problem but had to install a competitor's product on my Surface Pro 2. Not worth the time to contact support to resolve.

Thermaltake CL-R0026 Aluminum Heatsinks only

5 out of 5 eggs If your memory has a heatsink, don't buy it! 08/06/2008

This review is from: Thermaltake CL-R0026 Aluminum Heatsinks only

Pros: I gave it an excellent rating because I don't want to give a negative review for my mistake. In short, if your memory has built in heatsinks, it won't really fit.

Cons: None

MSI R4870-T2D512 OC Radeon HD 4870 512MB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: I assumed I would be buying an NVDIA based card but after going to Tom's Hardware, I ended up buying this one. Although I haven't replaced any components in a couple of years and now have some high end components (QUAD Core Intel, DDR3, etc....) It is truly only the video card that stands out from my original configuration. I am just salivating at the thought of one day getting a second card for crossfire. Yikes!

Cons: It ran hot so I bought the ARCTIC COOLING ACCELS1 Rev 2 VGA Cooler plus the fans. This setup takes up a lot of space and I could never fit two cards in crossfire mode with this setup.
