Pros: Modular, Gold Certified, rock solid reliable.
Other Thoughts: I've have this since I build my current computer back in 2010 and I have never had a problem with it, ever. It's quiet and allows me to only connect what I need. It's run SLI no problem and I was able to OC.
My computer is pretty much always one (when I'm home), so I am pretty impressed with the reliability of this PSU. I've had some iffy power supplies in the past... but this.... this is definitely not one of those.
Pros: Price, Warranty, Performance vs other WD hard drives.
Cons: Reads as 931 GB, but that's to be expected I suppose. Doesn't even come with one SATA cable.
Other than that, can't really complain
Other Thoughts: Bought this to put in my gaming PC to store video and sound files for my work in Adobe Premiere.
Ultimately I want to get a NAS system for my home/office, but local storage was the only option right now. So, i looked around and toiled on the decision.
I picked this HD because I have an older model of it and it has been Rock Solid reliable for me. I hope this one works out the same
Pros: - Ridiculously fast
- spacious (for what I am using it for)
- rock solid performance (consistent and without ANY issues)
Cons: May would say price, SSDs are currently still extremely expensive when it comes to $$ per GB. But see my other thoughts.
Other Thoughts: Purchased this back in July of 2013 and put it into a new HP Pavilion DV6 Quad Edition the day I got the machine. I was not please with the selection provided to me by the manufactured for hard drives, so I purchased this one myself. I have absolutely NO regrets about purchasing this drive.
It is in my business machine and provides me with the flexibility, stability, and speed that I want and require. As a technology instructor and support specialist my daily duties vary (from teaching, to video editing, to photo editing, to remote desktop support). This drive turned the computer I purchased into the computer I WANTED.
You will not regret this purchase.
