Pros: I recently installed this on my rapidly aging HTPC which wasn't cutting it with its original integrated geforce 6150se chip. Worked great for a few hours or so.
Cons: After a few hours the screen started to artifact and stutter, then died completely.
Other Thoughts: I like my HTPC quiet so I was attracted to the fanless design, but as other reviews have stated the sink appears way too small to disperse the heat without a significant amount of airflow. If you need a fan blowing on a sink in order for it properly operate, it's not really fanless is it?
Two stars because I feel responsible for the poor airflow in my case.
Pros: Very nice, sleek black look. It's a perfect HTPC with no annoying or bright LED lights flashing about. Quiet PSU, HDD and optical drive tray is very easy to remove and work with.
Cons: As others have noted, the dimensions given on the details page is inaccurate. It is closer to 17" x 13", so keep this in mind if you are intending to fit this in a specific space. The cables coming out of the PSU are a mess, but can be handled with enough zip ties.
Other Thoughts: Didn't use the stock 80mm fan so I can't comment on how noisy it is, I replaced it with a low RPM quiet fan and the final product is very quiet indeed. Dropped in a celeron g530, maxed out the 8gb of RAM and turned out a speedy, silent and unobtrusive machine.
I'm using this as a desktop, not a HTPC so I haven't used the included remote...still, it's pretty cool to have and I'll probably find use for it in the near future.
This review is from: Rosewill RCM-3201V True 1.3 M Effective Pixels USB WebCam
Pros: Great little webcam for an amazing price, nice picture quality and good sound capture. Windows 7 recognized it right away and now I can Skype and video chat easily and conveniently.
Cons: None...for the price you pay you aren't going to find one better.
Other Thoughts: Rosewill and Newegg are a winning combination, anytime and everytime. I've bought dozens of economically priced Rosewill products over the course of a decade and I've never been disappointed once.READ FULL REVIEW
