This review is from: Netgear WN3000RP Universal N300 Wi-Fi Range Extender IEEE 802.11b/g/n, IEEE 802.3/3u
Pros: The setup process seems fairly straightforward (unfortunately, it doesn't actually work).
Cons: The refurbished product I received cannot be configured and seems defective (probably why it was returned to begin with). Newegg says I can't RMA the product and have to use Netgear tech support. Netgear tech support says to return the product to Newegg. So I just have to throw it away--what a waste!
Other Thoughts: Be aware of buying refurbished Netgear products. You only have access to email tech support, no phone support. Each email takes a full day to get a response and it's on the order of "have you tried unplugging it and plugging it back in." It's not worth the frustration to save a few bucks.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Transcend 32GB Secure Digital High-Capacity (SDHC) Flash Card Model TS32GSDHC6
Pros: One of the two I purchased still works.
Cons: I purchased two of these cards for a new camera. After only using it a few times, the card stopped working and the camera gave an error. When putting the card in my PC card reader, it prompted me to reformat the card, causing the loss of the pictures I had recently taken (thankfully, I offload the cards as soon as possible on a regular basis).
The card is cheap enough that it's not worth the hassle of returning the card for warranty service. The real loss is pictures that can't be replaced. I wouldn't recommend using this brand for any critical storage needs.
