Pros: very sharp and detailed
No Dead or stuck Pixels
Value is awesome
Cons: Lack of adjustable base
Other Thoughts: I took a chance on this as there were no other reviews. This Monitor simply is amazing. I could never go back to just plain Hi Def from here, as the extra resolution I now love. The fact that it is an IPS and QHD makes it look great.
I would recommend this monitor to anyone considering it, you will be happy.
I am using an Nvidia GTX660Ti, and lost very little fps from upgrading to this monitor. I was previously using a Samsung 1920x1200 26" display, and this is brighter, has more vividly sharp colors and more actual screen real estate because of the higher resolution.
I would definatley buy this again.
Pros: This card replaced an sli gtx 470 setup.
My 3dMark 11 sli scores on the 470 was 8176
The single card score for the 470 was 4816
This card by itself scored a 9016 beating the sli scores for the 470's and this card is 25 degrees cooler and way quieter. It is so very awesome! I run a 27" monitor @ 1920 x 1200, and it is so very smooth. Runs Tomb Raider on Ultimate with 54 fps!
Cons: Not a one!
Other Thoughts: I had been buying EVGA cards for the last 2 generations with their full shroud. They are very loud when the fans spin up. The open construction of this card keeps it much cooler and quieter than any shrouded graphics card.
MSI did a great job with it's design and overclocking of this.
Get this card If you run under a 30" Monitor, you will be so happy you did!
This review is from: MSI P67A-GD55 (B3) LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
Pros: None anymore...
Cons: This is an update to the review I posted about my RMA procedure. Things have changed drastically. I just received my 3rd replacement Motherboard from MSI. Another one that does not work. I have to admit that noe of the issues have been the same. The 1st board was just plain DOA, not working from day one. 2nd board actually worked and I was happy at last ...for 8 days. Then it would just cycle on/off in 2 secs, no post, just power up/down. 3rd board I got today. I figured that someone would make sure that this would never happen 3 times in a row...Well, I guess they really don't care, or are really just overwhelmed with things to do...This board does power up and posts outside of my case, however, once inside it simply does nothing but power on , flash the power phase lights, then get so hot that I thought it would eventually cook my processor if I didn't turn it off. I understand that they are probably using refurbished boards for their RMA's I'm sure all of the companies do. But this is just ridiculous...Funny thing is I remember thinking when I first bought into this platform that I was tossed between the MSI and EVGA motherboards. Well, I bought 2 EVGA gtx470's and have them sli'd to this day! YEs, there was an RMA in the 2 years I have had the cards, but only 1, not 3 or 4...
Other Thoughts: I honestly have no idea what to do at this point. I have absolutely no faith and confidence that they will ever get this right.
I should have just went with all EVGA parts.....
If you are trying to decide about buying this brand...make sure you read all of the posts on MSI products...
I for one will never purchase another of their products again.
