2 out of 5 eggs Slow Router 08/18/2016

This review is from: Linksys EA9200-4A Wireless AC3200 Tri-Band Smart Wi-Fi Router

Pros: reliable connection, Tri-band

Cons: Too slow for media and streaming use. Router only has 1 ghz processor with only 256 mb of ram, You tube and netflix buffer a lot with this router Web Sites are slow as well. Distance is bad after 30 feet. Even at this low price it is over priced.

Other Thoughts: Save your money and go with the EA8500,or WRT1900ACS. It blows this router away in speed and distance. I would stay away from tri-band routers, all I have tested are slow and have same weak 1ghz processor. It is too much for processor to handle tri-band.

ASRock Z97 Pro3 LGA 1150 Intel Z97 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: more than 1 year

Pros: cheap price

Cons: Support is terrible, my second board started to turn itself on without me hitting power button. I put in for a rma on june 1st, and have not heard from them at all. I got tired of waiting for them, and bought a different board from Gigabyte. have not had any problems. Did not work, still powering itself on, I'm not going to waste 20 dollars sending it back to you just for your tech to tell me he can't find anything wrong like he did last time. I'm going to junk it and never buy another Asrock product again. I replaced it with a Gigabyte board in same rig and it is working fine.

Other Thoughts: save yourself grief and buy a name brand like Asus or Gigabyte. these guys don't know how to serve their customers. this is a email I sent to them: Did not work, still powering itself on, I'm not going to waste 20 dollars sending it back to you just for your tech to tell me he can't find anything wrong like he did last time. I'm going to junk it and never buy another Asrock product again. I replaced it with a Gigabyte board in same rig and it is working fine. This problem only happens when board is installed in a case. Looks like the motherboard has a short.
