SONY Laptop VAIO F Series SVF15218CXP Intel Core i7 3537U (2.00 GHz) 8 GB Memory 1 TB HDD Intel HD Graphics 4000 15.5

Pros: Bought this for my sister and helped her configure it so these are the things she said, "I like the back-lit keyboard and battery life (Sony seems to do it right). The keyboard feels good too almost like a smooth chick-let keyboard. The 10 key is a huge plus."

Cons: Touchscreen broken the day I got it, called Sony tech support, couldn't fix with a simple driver or even a factory restore, so ended up having to ship it back to Sony in Texas to have it manually repaired (7-10 business days out of a laptop)

Other Thoughts: I've been pleased with Sony products in the past, but somehow this one was a dud, and not sure how it got past their quality assurance considering the touchscreen wasn't working the day I got it and couldn't be repaired with a driver etc. I even asked for a loaner laptop in the meantime to continue working, but apparently Sony stopped doing that some time ago so be aware if you get a dud, you'll be out for a week or more depending on the issue. Tech support was very helpful and friendly.

GIGABYTE Super Overclock Series GeForce GTX 560 Ti (Fermi) DirectX 11 GV-N560SO-1GI 1GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

Pros: This video card can take almost anything I can throw at it without batting an eye. I can play COD: Black Ops flawlessly on the highest settings and it looks WAY better than any PS3 could ever do. I have played UT3, Oblivion, and a few others on the highest settings, and again, flawless gameplay.
I also like the way the on-board fans are positioned to push the air out and away from the card to perform as cool as possible while making fan noise almost non-existent.

Cons: It is slightly larger than some other graphics cards, but not a con if you do your research and know how much space your case has.

Other Thoughts: Overall, I really like the speed, price, and gameplay that is produced from this relatively cheap video card for the performance you get from it. I would LOVE to get two of these and connect via SLI running x16/x16 (because my MoBo is capable of doing so) I've always been pleased with nVidia as well as Gigabyte and would recommend this to anyone who's sitting on the fence about which one to choose.
