ASUS VX279Q Black 27
  • Owned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: Beautiful colors
Huge screen

Cons: over-sensitive menu is horrible
wish it had another HDMI and/or one DVI

Other Thoughts: I love this display so far for my computer and Xbox 360, but the menu is horrible. If anyone could give me a cheat sheet, it would be greatly appreciated! It is just too sensitive, and if I want to change to DP, HDMI, VGA, I have to get lucky in order to see it change.. I tend to almost ALWAYS get the changes between scenery, standard, gaming, etc..

Am I supposed to set it some way so that I can then ONLY switch between inputs? I cannot figure it out.

G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9Q-16GBXL
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Easy install, fast, and an excellent price!

Cons: Nothing

Other Thoughts: I bought these 4 sticks (16gb) for my Asus P6X58D Premium which is about 3 years old (which had 3 sticks that totaled 6gb of Corsair Dominator RAM). Anyway, just looked at my motherboard's manual to see how to put in 4 sticks instead of 3, and I had zero issues.

ASUS M2NPV-VM AM2 NVIDIA GeForce 6150 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
  • Owned For: 1 day to 1 week

5 out of 5 eggs Great mobo for budget-mid build 08/17/2006

This review is from: ASUS M2NPV-VM AM2 NVIDIA GeForce 6150 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: 4 Sata 3.0gb/s, Socket AM2, Onboard 6150, windows x64 ready.
I bought this with a sempron 3000 and corsair xms2 6400 ram (2x512 dual channel kit) and it is running beautifully on windows xp 64.

Cons: Sucks for overclocking despite the 'auto OC' feature. Could only OC from 1600 to 1680, but I don't really care because this is for a server anyway. Would've been nice to do a 10% OC!

Other Thoughts: Great buy if you want to build a budget-midgrade system. It uses the new AM2 socket, so you can put in a sempron like me or a dual core if you really want. I was worried at first because of all the DOA reviews, but that's just bad luck.
