This review is from: Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64-bit
Pros: When my hard drive wasn't corrupt and crashing and finally died; it worked as well as an operating system could. Quick boot times, .net framework can be annoying with certain softwares compatibility issues
Cons: *******MICROSOFT ITSELF******
Before today, i really had no quarrels with Microsoft. I have always liked the windows platform aside from some of their O.S's that turned out to just be butchered, unstable wrecks. But all in all i personally thought windows 7 ultimate was a huge improvement over vista, a system which i had avoided entirely after trying it on one of my builds with an ugly turnout (i stuck with XP till 7 came out). But today i contact microsoft customer support because my OCZ SSD was corrupt and finally just encountered fatal errors; not even showing up as a hard drive/peripheral/bootable media. So i tell them my problem and how i can no longer find my install disk, it had been lost in the couple of moves i have gone through the past couple years. So he tells me "Absoloutely i can help you with that blah blah blah. Turns out he basically told me Sucks to be you bro, your going to need to re-purchase a new full price OS, because its impossible for them to just send me a replacement disk even though i have the product license key. That there is no way to help me whatsoever regardless of fact that i had already flipping purchased it and been a loyal microsoft customer. That they do not stand behind their products or consumers. So make sure to never lose your install disk or let something accidentally break or damage it (since we all do things like lose or destroy things like that on purpose) or make sure to buy two maybe try and get a bulk discount. Because if something ever happens to ur hard drive and u need to spend a few hundred dollars to replace and fix it and your OS disk is accidently lost or damaged Microsoft can't do a single thing to help you, like oh say send u a replacement disk. Because one of the largest and most profiteering software and electronics innovators and manufacturers in the world cant possibly send a replacement disk: or lazier yet, an .iso image or file that you legally purchased and paid for out the donkey no less. So just be prepared to deal with the greedy, useless, un-loyal SOBS that they are.
Pros: Probably the best improvement in our small office within the past 25 years. This scanner has made scanning proposals, building specs, documents, and everything else we throw at it into a fast, easy, effortless process. The 50 sheet autofeed tray is great so you dont need to keep feeding in a few pages at a time. The speed is amazing just shoots right through while scanning both sides of the document and with the software, bundling it into a single pdf or saving it to a virtual file cabinet on your desktop. Highly recommended for small office users
Cons: Sometimes it reads that there is a document overlap error and scans some documents upside down, probably something that could be fixed but its not that big of a problem as to where i would take points off the rating. The only other con is that it can only be used with the computer that it is connected to, it cant be set up to be used as a network device. Unless thats a problem with the usb port compatibility on my router.READ FULL REVIEW
