Pros: The mouse worked well while it lasted (see cons). The mouse tracks well and has a smooth feel on the mouse pad. Ergonomically it is comfortable and fits my Large/XLarge hand well. It works well with all versions of Windows as well as Linux, Unix, and Mac. Battery life is good.
Cons: The left click switch on the first mouse and the right click switch on the second mouse started to fail after about 3-4 months of use. Their website suggests a fix that requires pulling the battery and discharging the capacitors, but it only corrects the problem for about 5 min. The switches fail due to bad design (and materials) causing left-click drag fail or worse, double-click instead. Right click while gaming just let's go so that the camera will either skip or not move.
Other Thoughts: Logitech support refused to repair these mice so I bought new feet and repaired them myself. That is when I found the bad design. Search the web and you will find many forums full of angry customers with the same problem. Not everybody has the skills that I have. Beware, I experienced horrible customer service. I have spent thousands of dollars on Logitech products through the years, and I regret every cent spent at this point. I am lucky that there are companies out there with competitive products. Pros: I put this in a rack server in order to hot swap storage drives in a RAID array. After reading reviews I was concerned about the levers but that hasn't been a problem. I push the drive in until I feel the plugs engage and then I use the lever to lock the unit in place.
Cons: The fan is quite loud so I replaced the fan with a Nexus fan. I mounted the fan to the backside of the fan shroud with rubber fan mounts for additional reduction in noise and vibration. My HDDs never get hot.
Other Thoughts: I would be happy to pay extra for a better design, more air flow, and silent fans. I don't mind modifying things to get better performance but it usually tends to void the warranty.READ FULL REVIEW
