Pros: I purchased the 2011 version using it off and on for the year and really liked where it was going with the user interface. Now comes the 2012 version with big improvements in color blending and added customization of the toolset.
Cons: None that has raised concern in the weeks I've used the product.
Other Thoughts: Great for drawing tablet owners. Worth the price.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Low Price
Mild Improvement in Performance
Mem Test 100%
Cons: Had to reseat ram a few times before it would post, it felt like trying to get a NES Cartridge to work.
Lowered Windows Experience Index Score. Dropped from 4.9 to 4.8 (ram) Previously Had Samsung 2GB x 2GB installed, I'll blame windows for this one and not the ram, hehe.
Sticks were labled as 8GB and then Sublabled as 4GBx4GB instead of just labled as 4GB sticks, which may lead to some confusion.
Other Thoughts: HP Pavillion DV-7 1170us
Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor T5800
NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT
Upon installation of the new ram I manualy set the min and max virtual Memory to 12288 mb as recommended. The page file is on a seperate HD with a faster RPM.
If this was an XP machine even a small 2GB upgade would be a big improvement however the overall speed improvement was not as noticeable with the added 4GB as I had hoped. Then again this is a Vista machine and well used so I'll wait till I upgrade to windows 7.
For those having trouble with the ram, don't forget to remove power from the motherboard when installing the ram,I suggest removing the batrtery and disconnecting the power cable, also keep trying to reseat the ram if it doesn't post right away.
