This review is from: EasyN Wireless LED 2-Way Audio Network IR Nightvision Camera
Pros: Great little cam. Sw is a little weak. But works fine with iPad and android apps for remote control and viewing. Love the pan and tilt. The 2 way audio is not great. Lots of noise. The presets for pan and tilt are great for checking specific things. Also the IR works better than my other trend net cams.
Cons: Weak sw. But works. 2 way audio is noisy. The listening is ok. The speaking is not.
Other Thoughts: Great little cam for the price. Works with iPad and android remote apps. Love the presets for pane and tilt.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Great little device. Works great with windows. Using 4 Seagate 3TB drives in a RAID 5 config. Result is 8TB of redundant storage. Had to install USB 3.0 card for max speed in my PC but that was only around $20. Would highly recommend. Documentation is not real great....but there is not much to it. Install drives, plug in and install drivers and config.
Cons: documentation could be better. Would highly recommend that you stick with RAID rated drives and all drives are the same make and model. I would not try it with the GREEN drives that are not RAID rated.
Other Thoughts: Would buy again. Great little device.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Mediasonic HFR2-SU3S2FW Raid 0 (Spanning) JBOD Raid 0 (Stripping) Raid 1 (Mirroring) Raid 3 (Stripped set with dedicated parity) Raid 5 (Striped set with distributed parity) Raid 10 (Mirroring + Striping) 4 3.5" Drive Bays USB 3.0 eSA
Pros: Great little device. Used $19 USB 3 card in older PC and no issues. Auto power down and up work fine and good xfer speeds. Using 4 x 3TB Barracuda drives with a spare and it has worked great in Raid 5. Best bang for the buck. Love this little thing. At this price it might be worth buying another and using it for offsite Disaster Recovery.
Cons: Documentation is not real good for a novice. Can see why there have been some negative comments on this. There is a a great deal of help online.
Other Thoughts: would buy again. this little thing rocks. simple admin and reliable. Not one issue and it has been running for 6 months. The power sensing works great with my UPS controller on auto shutdown as well. Caution - make sure you purchase drives that are RAID friendly. Many of the very low cost power saver drives are not. Especially with Western Digital. However they do not point that out unless you read the fine print. The Seagate Barracuda 7200's work great.READ FULL REVIEW
