2 out of 5 eggs One Stick Died After 2 years 09/03/2012

This review is from: CORSAIR 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 Desktop Memory Model CMV4GX3M2A1333C9

Pros: Great company and great RAM

Cons: These lasted me almost a full 2 years before one of the two sticks of Memory Completely crapped out. Made my computer blue screen anytime it would try to use a second stick of RAM, and took me a little bit to figure it out initially. Is unfortunate it didn't last me longer, but at the price nowadays an upgrade might just be in order anyway.

CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX650 650W ATX12V/EPS12V 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC High Performance Power Supply
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: more than 1 year

Pros: Great company and a very reliable power supply

Cons: This power supply would randomly stop working, and my computer would restart, but would never post a bios. I have LED indicators on my motherboard to show that all 4 cpus are running at first normally, but the power strip for the processor is loose inside the psu I guess?! I haven't opened it up or anything, but when I jiggle and tug on the wires coming out of the psu all 4 processors turn on and it runs fine. Basically mine crapped out on me after 4 months, and there is only a standard warranty, so be careful!

Other Thoughts: Maybe warranty is necessary with corsair from now on -.-
