Seagate BarraCuda ST31000524AS 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5

Pros: Worked great. Was Fast(ish, 7200RPM, pretty standard.) Held a Terabyte. That was nice.

Cons: After just over a year and half this thing has seeminly started to die on me. It will work for about 30-60 seconds after startup. After that all requests for data from it time out/cause windows explorer to crash. Note: I got an SSD 2 months ago, this started about a month ago.

Other Thoughts: I will have to boot into this drive sometime and see how my old windows 7 installation holds up. If my system crashes during that test then I will know for sure the hard drive is bad.

Logitech Z313 25 W 2.1 Speaker System

1 out of 5 eggs Good Sound, Just Bad Design 09/17/2011

This review is from: Logitech Z313 25 W 2.1 Speaker System

Pros: Sounds great. Control knob is nice, sometimes I will have a problem with pulling the control knob-thing down by catching it with my feet under the desk. But this is obviously a small flaw, and depends on desk setup.

Cons: I had these speakers for 2-3 months and then occasionally the plug that connects the speakers to the subwoofer would rattle loose, and so it would just return subwoofer volume. I've owned these for around 2 years now. The longer I had them the worse it got. Eventually I couldn't even wiggle the connection around to find a way to get the cord to connect to the subwoofer, to play sound over my speakers. I was getting nothing but subwoofer. Finally I realized that my speakers were worthless and I might as well take a chance breaking them. I took the cord that plugs into the subwoofer, pushed it in as hard as I could, and gave it a quick jerk to the side. Sure enough that did the trick, something in there broke or something, but then I got good regular sound! Unfortunately I went back to college and unplugged it and now it rattles loose again. I WILL NEVER BUY LOGITECH "LOGICRAP" EVER AGAIN.

Other Thoughts: Absolutely worthless (except for the first 2-3 months) and poorly designed. Cheap for a reason.
