This review is from: SteelSeries Siberia V2 3.5mm Connector Circumaural Full-size Headset - Red
Pros: Light-weight, mute-button for mic, retractable mic, adjustable fit, extension cord.
Cons: Thin ear pads result in ear and neck pain after 1 hr, cord has separate 3.5mm males for mic and audio but they are poorly labeled and have no color coding so you have to peer at them with a light to see what goes where, the attached cable is super short and the extension is super long so there's nothing comfortble in the middle ground (either the cable is in the air from my tower to my head or there's a mass of cable on my desk).READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Rich bass and all-around great levels!
Comfortable and customizable plug padding for my weird ears.
Cons: Bumping or tapping of the cord makes considerable noise in the earbuds. Not a problem if you're at a desk or walking around, but jogging/biking it was annoying until I mentally blocked it out.
Other Thoughts: Best headphones I've ever owned, although I've never spent more than $50.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Mass Effect 3 PC Game
Pros: Amazing story that had my emotions ranging from shock to excitement to fear to "fugging balls" to sadness to incredulity. Fantastic script that felt true to the characters and not just another sci-fi work of fiction. Great combat that had me sweating and "oh balls MORE??!" and "WTFH IS THAT THING!!" Meaningful ending that, while unpredictable, was mind-boggling and felt like it really mattered... had me staring at the dialog options for like 10 minutes, shaking at the thought of the repercussions.
Cons: Controls: ME1 had controls such that you knew what your character was going to do. ME2 did not... SPACEBAR literally had 4 functions (sprint, into cover, out of cover, use) which is insane and annoying and results in many avoidable deaths. ME3 made no change, but at least I was used to the bugs associated with ONE button for FOUR functions.
People's reviews: No one appreciates the work and integrity and amazing vision of the writers. Just because something doesn't end all hunky-dory-everything-is-epic-and-we're-fine doesn't mean it's a bad game. This is on par with LOTR's ending... sacrifice matter, and sometimes, no matter what the decisions you made along the way, you can't avoid the pain.
Other Thoughts: Mass Effect 1 was crazy original and a fantastic sci-fi game, but it hasn't aged well. Mass Effect 2 a bit more polished but the whole game was "assemble your team." Mass Effect 3 is the combination and culmination of the positives from both games, and I was in tears at the end (STAY PAST THE CREDITS)!READ FULL REVIEW
