definitely install the second fan on the back BEFORE installing on the motherboard!
these fans are very quite with the knobs on low, but its great to have the control knobs in easy access to turn them up when you need extra cooling power!
fit LIKE A GLOVE between my northbridge and memory sticks on my "ASRock 890FX DELUXE5 AM3+ AMD 890FX" board!
Cons: you have to take off the cpu cooler mounting bracket from you mobo to replace it with the new one that BOLTS on that fits this cooler - kinda annoying. also, the little rubber things that they give you to mount the fans onto the heatsink are a pain especially if you end up having to take them off and back on to fit wires etc around it.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: great card - lets me play loads of games at fairly high resolution with NO problems. i havent tried it at max settings, cause its not that big of a deal to me and i dont want to risk stressing the card, but i'm sure it would do fine!! still waiting for my rebate, but atleast i can track the status online - it should be on the way now!
great setup with the fan blowing the hot air OUT of the case instead leaving it swirling around inside
Other Thoughts: works BEAUTIFULLY with my new board:
ASRock 890FX DELUXE5 AM3+ AMD 890FX
it supports SLI :D
This review is from: ASRock 890FX DELUXE5 AM3+ AMD 890FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
Pros: best mobo i have owned yet!
there are plenty of fan connections and everything is placed very nicely!
mobo includes a power AND reset button! never seen that before - havent needed to use them but i guess that would be helpful with troubleshooting etc. lots of extras like that
i was a little skeptical buying ASROCK, but MSI and ASUS have been bad boards lately - and i am very pleased with this board :D
Cons: not really a con, but i had to take off the cpu cooler bracket to get another one on and taht was a pain. but thats what you get when you get the huge thermaltake frio cpu cooler - you have to bolt on a special bracket!READ FULL REVIEW
