Pros: Small, quiet, inexpensive, quicker than I expected, plenty of USB ports.
Cons: No usb 3.0 on front. Case shape makes getting small dongles out of rear usb ports is a pain.
Other Thoughts: Very good value for money. Not a gaming system, but the SSD (my first) made it seem as quick as my i5-powered laptop. Ubuntu 14.04 works perfectly. The cons are relatively minor, all things considered.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Turn the key and it goes. Installed Ubuntu 14.04 dual boot with no issues. Drives HDMI 1920x1080 monitor easily.
- 4 usb 3.0 ports is nice.
- 1 free ram socket and 1 free bay for 2.5" x 9mm hard drive. Room for growth is nice.
- Fan is very quiet.
- Tool-less case is simple and reasonably well thought out.
Cons: Not the speediest thing in the world. Works well for everyday office/home type jobs, but probably not great for gaming.
Nothing but small nit-picks:
- The curvy edge of the case and recessed USB sockets on the back (the 3.0 ports) makes removing small usb dongles a pain. Don't need pliers, but some more clearance for fingers would have been nice. No issue with anything that sticks out more than 1/2 inch.
- The white drive activity light is very bright. Slightly annoying to some.
Other Thoughts: Good solution and super cost effective for non-power-users.
The machine has given me no reason to try Zotac's tech support, so nothing to report there.
This review is from: Rosewill RHB-330 -7-Port USB 2.0 Hub with Power Adapter
Pros: Works as advertised. No issues. Good value-for-money.
Having some switched and some unswitched ports is nice. The power supply is mercifully small.
Cons: None yet.READ FULL REVIEW
